What is Orchard CORE?
Orchard CORE (Comprehensive Orchard Rare disease Education) is a program comprised of educators with a nursing background to address the concerns of parents, caregivers, and patients navigating an MLD diagnosis, gene therapy treatment, and the Orchard Assist process. Patients and caregivers are encouraged to utilize this program to connect with a CORE educator to answer your questions from diagnosis to treatment follow-up.
If your child or a loved one has been recently diagnosed with MLD, referred to a Qualified Treatment Center (QTC) for gene therapy treatment, or if you are in need of assistance along the way, Orchard CORE is here to help.
Here are some topics our CORE Educators can talk with you about:
An overview of MLD
The impact an MLD diagnosis can have on you and your family
How to get a referral and find the nearest QTC
Gene therapy treatment
Life after treatment, including follow-up and monitoring
Orchard Assist’s support and resources
If you suspect MLD, speak to a doctor about possible diagnosis and testing
If you have additional questions or need more information,
Call 833-ORCHAST (833-672-4278) and ask for an educator so we can help
